Brooklyn-based artist, Cindy Rainne, joins the show to discuss songwriting. As a classically trained singer, songwriter, pianist, actress and educator, she brings a wealth of expertise to the table. In this episode we talk about the creative process, what she learned when she first began writing songs and how that changed everything for her, music and lyrics coming together, writing and releasing her EP, writing for business and promotions versus creative writing and SO MUCH MORE!

Cindy has built a robust profile through singing in front of sold-out crowds in NC, SC, Buffalo, NY, New York City and Switzerland. Her performances showcase elements of classical music, jazz, pop, reggae, soca, opera, gospel, soul, and R&B. In 2018, she released her debut EP, "The Mask." This collection of original songs promotes self-love and self-expression through a fusion of her eclectic musical influences.

As a music educator, Cindy has worked with a variety of groups including teens in foster care, church choirs, senior citizens centers, daycare centers, jazz programs for children, theater companies and high school choirs. She currently runs a thriving voice and piano studio in Brooklyn, Cindy's Music School. To learn more, visit cindyrainne.com or cindysmusicschool.com
